Groups are meeting now!  This semester will run through the first week of December, then we'll take some time off through the holidays and pick up again in February.

There are still a couple groups available to join if you're coming in late into the semester.  Click the "Join" button to register.

At Heritage we believe "it's not about us."  For this reason, each semester all of our groups look for opportunities to serve those in our community or around the world who are in need.  This semester, we have several opportunities available for groups to consider.

Commonly Asked Questions

What is a New Testament Challenge (NTC) Group?
Gathering weekly New Testament Groups are an essential expression of our church’s mission. At the heart of the groups ministry is the desire to see a community of believers who worship Jesus, love one another, and embody the mission of Heritage to make disciples. God has called us to a continuous lifestyle of worship and relationship with Himself, which is cultivated and nurtured within the body of Christ. The Church is a people. It is a gift of God. At Heritage, groups are the place where friendships are made. It is where the body becomes the body, loving, caring and challenging one another.  It is our desire to see every member of Heritage loved, cared for, and challenged within a thriving community. And it is our desire that our neighbors within the community at large are blessed and touched by the love of Jesus through the lives of our members.

What's the difference between a New Testament Challenge Group and a Growth Group?
This fall all of our Growth Groups are engaging with the New Testament Challenge.  For this semester, we are referring to our Growth Groups as New Testament Challenge Groups, or NTC Groups.  For those who are resistant of change - don’t worry.
We’ll go back to calling them Growth Groups next semester.

What should I expect when I go?
Each group is unique as the group reflects the personalities of those who participate. However, you can expect a weekly gathering that may involve food, conversation, prayer, discussion for applying the Bible to practical living, and service in the neighborhood. Growth Groups are an environment for building relationships with one another, which strongly emphasizes challenging one another to drive God’s Word deeply into our lives. Some groups follow the Sunday sermon series; although some work through another curriculum. However, Growth Groups are much more than a Bible study - they are community, a place where we can laugh, cry, work and play together for glory of Jesus. This means you could expect BBQ’s, yard work for an elderly neighbor, bowling, working in children’s ministry, visiting people in the hospital, birthday parties, etc.
